Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Namyang

The Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Namyang, as welcoming as the Virgin Mary's arms
In Namyang-dong, there is a small bridge called 'Rosario Bridge'. Across this bridge, a monument stands tall, engraved as a shrine to Namyang Catholic martyrs. This is the Shrine of Our Lady of the Rosary of Namyang, also known as Rosary Hill. It is Korea's first and only designated holy pilgrimage site for the Holy Mother. At the entrance, the sights start with pines trees that twist and rise towards the sky. The Holy Site itself is bounded by gentle hills, conveying a sense of comfort, as if resting in the Holy Mother's embrace.
The most notable feature of Rosary Hill is the Twenty-Decade Rosary Road. Arranged like a single rosary, this circular path features a large cross, a statue of the Holy Mother, and immense granite rosary 'beads' too big to encircle with your arms. Lined with trees, shrubs, meadows, and earthen paths, this place is a haven for anyone, including non-Catholics.
